Who We Are

United Scrap Metal will help you fulfill your Supplier Diversity requirements.

Our unique status as a Certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) can be leveraged by both prime and subcontractors.  Market segments such as automotive, aerospace, defense / military, government and Fortune 1000 corporations establish target procurement levels that need to be achieved.  In addition, construction projects at the municipal, county, state and federal level maintain supplier diversity goals.

WBE supplier diversity goals can also be met by consumers producing finished materials.  Their respective customers are able to apply both tier 1 and tier 2 WBE supplier diversity spend credits.

We welcome the opportunity to participate as a subcontractor within your upcoming bid.

Women’s Business Resources

Giving back to the community is a core value at United Scrap Metal as we continue to allocate our resources in helping others.

Our entire team shares this passion while dedicating their time to non-profits throughout the region.  We encourage our team members to serve on boards and committees that facilitate our vision of giving back.  We are united in assisting with both financial and human capital.

Our longstanding partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana (RMHC-CNI) is an example of our commitment to the community.  This formal relationship develops greater environmental awareness by educating community members on the importance of recycling; while concurrently generating funds to provide a “home away from home” for families of hospitalized children. Through this unique partnership, we spearhead various programs that benefit the charity.
