Vice President, Lead Agency Partnerships
Amy Smith serves as Vice President, Lead Agency Partnerships for OMNIA Partners, Public Sector. Mrs. Smith is responsible for supporting existing lead agencies and working to create and foster new strategic lead agency relationships. She partners with the lead agencies to develop long-term strategy, shared vision, and overall collaboration, which are all integral pieces of the contracting process. Mrs. Smith assists the organization in understanding how the lead agency’s goals align with the OMNIA Partners program and stays well informed about short-term and long-term goals and priorities of both. She works closely with Partner Development, Business Development, Public Sector Contracting and Public Sector Account Management teams to develop multi-year contract roadmaps.
A tenured veteran, Mrs. Smith has helped grow the OMNIA Partners cooperative since August 2006. Prior to her current role, she served as Group Vice President – East Region supporting the Regional Management team in developing and maintaining relationships with key participating public agencies within the municipal, K-12, and non-profit markets. She also served as Group VP for both Central and South Regions, as well as Regional Manager for both the Central Region and Higher Education. Mrs. Smith has a strong background in assisting agencies with the utilization of the OMNIA Partners, Public Sector contract portfolio and coordinating the involvement of key supplier partners.
Before joining the company, she served as Relationship Manager in Commerce Bank's Commercial Card Services Division. During her five years there she established procurement card programs and developed procedural guidelines for proper and efficient utilization of the p-card within corporate, government and education organizations.
Mrs. Smith has a B.S. in International Business Administration and Marketing from Missouri State University and resides in St. Louis, MO with her husband Scott and 2 boys, Charlie (15) and Sam (13), both avid baseball players and multi-sport enthusiasts.
