Edmentum provides adaptive curricula, research-based assessments, and educational services to make true personalized learning an achievable reality in every classroom.
As educators, you know better than anyone that a one-size-fits-all approach to learning does not fit the bill. Students need flexibility in both what and how they learn. Whether you are planning to implement an individualized learning program for all students; whether you need to precisely pinpoint students’ instructional levels, strengths, and needs; whether you are launching a new credit recovery initiative; or whether you are expanding your catalog of courses with new options and educational services, we can partner with you to provide the resources—and expertise—to drive student success.

There is no one school model that works for all students. Students have unique backgrounds, goals, and characteristics that impact their experiences with education and shape their definitions of success. Instead of expecting students to conform, we empower educators to transform their approach and build school around the needs of each individual student.
6-12 credit-bearing core and elective courses
Students can use Apex Courses for original credit or credit recovery toward grade-level advancement and high school graduation. From foundational skills to advanced coursework and everything between, Courses balance robust, standards-based curriculum with an extensive system of literacy, language, and academic scaffolds and supports so each student finds success. With a catalog of middle and high school core, Advanced Placement® (AP®), career and technical education (CTE), electives, and world languages courses—in full course, prescriptive, and mastery-based learning—Courses meet a variety of digital curriculum needs. ESSA-level research studies demonstrate that Apex Courses positively impact graduation rates, credits earned, and preparedness for future classes.
6-12 targeted remediation & learning acceleration
With Tutorials, students quickly close learning gaps and build grade-level proficiency using standards-based instruction, practice, and review. Middle and high school core-subject Tutorials ensure every student prepares for and learns the skills and concepts needed to meet grade-level expectations. College readiness, end-of-course (EOC), and high school equivalency Tutorials target the skills and concepts needed for test success. Tutorials also make NWEA™ MAP® Growth test data actionable with an alignment between RIT ranges and Tutorials. With flexible implementation and personalized learning paths, educators are assured that each student can accelerate to on-grade proficiency and beyond. ESSA-level research studies demonstrate that Apex Tutorials increase state standards mastery and prepare students for high-stakes tests.
K–12 adaptive assessments and individualized instruction
Fact: Each and every learner has individual academic goals that must be met. Whether you’re running a station-rotation model in 3rd grade for individualized support or steering 10th graders through closing significant gaps in order to graduate, Exact Path makes learning personal. By combining adaptive assessments with individualized learning paths, Exact Path promotes growth across math, reading, and language arts.
K–12 practice and formative assessments
You work hard to deliver impactful instruction every day, but how do you know if that instruction is addressing the individual needs of every student? With Study Island, you don’t have to wonder. Our standards-based formative assessment and practice program for math, ELA, science, and social studies provides you with the tools and data you need to ensure that all students develop mastery for success on grade-level content, state assessments, and beyond.
6–adult digital curricula
Every student brings a unique set of skills, challenges, and capabilities to the classroom. Some students might excel at writing but struggle in math; some might need credit recovery options, while peers in the same grade want more Advanced Placement® (AP®) courses. Meet every student where he or she is with Courseware, a robust collection of standards-based online curricula for grades 6 through adulthood that includes core subjects, advanced courses, career and technical education (CTE), electives, and World Languages.
K–12 student-centered virtual learning
Today’s students want more than one-size-fits-all learning. EdOptions Academy is a fully accredited K through career online school that pairs award-winning curricula with state-certified teachers, expert program management, and holistic student support services to help you meet the needs of more learners. Provide the flexible, personalized learning options that students want without overstretching school budgets and staffing constraints.
Pre-K–6 foundational reading and literacy
When students crack the code on reading, they unlock their academic potential. In fact, many states cite early literacy as a major key to academic success and include 3rd grade reading proficiency goals in their ESSA plans. Edmentum’s dynamic 2-in-1 literacy solution, Reading Eggs and Reading Eggspress, is designed to build and reinforce foundational skills in a rich, interactive online world aligned to the five essential pillars of reading.
K–5 project-based digital curriculum
Students deserve a high-quality and impactful educational experience, whether learning occurs in a physical classroom or a virtual environment. With Calvert Learning digital curriculum, educators can enhance blended and virtual learning opportunities with K–5 online courses in ELA, math, science, social studies, art, health, and P.E.
Improving Outcomes Through Intervention, Test Prep, and Individualized Learning in Onalaska, Texas
Onalaska Independent School District began partnering with Edmentum in 2016 when it needed an online course provider for credit recovery and for expansion of its course catalog. Since then, the partnership has expanded to support intervention, state test (STAAR) preparation, foundational literacy, CTE, and personalized learning initiatives in grades K through 12. Onalaska ISD has already begun to see results with phenomenal improvements on STAAR end-of-course assessments between 2018 and 2019.
Opening Doors of Opportunity for Rural Students in Goodrich, Texas
Goodrich Middle and High School had difficulty recruiting the teachers needed due to its size and location. After weighing its options, the school partnered with Edmentum to allow students to take some of their courses online through EdOptions Academy and Courseware with a state-certified Edmentum teacher. Students struggled at first but eventually rose to the challenge and succeeded. With new higher levels of achievement, many students are now able to take dual enrollment courses through the University of Texas.
RTI Success and Beyond with Edmentum and NWEA in Navasota, Texas
Navasota Independent School District needed a way to effectively identify students for response to intervention (RTI) in grades 3 through 8, so the district implemented NWEA™ MAP© Growth™ as its assessment tool. For instruction, leaders at Navasota ISD decided to partner with Edmentum because of Edmentum’s ability to provide targeted, individualized instruction and practice based on each student’s NWEA MAP Growth results. After more than a year of utilizing Study Island and Exact Path, the district has a successful RTI program and has already begun to see growth on test results of the STAAR, the Texas state assessment.
Achieving Outstanding Reading and Math Growth in San Diego, Texas
When Collins-Parr Elementary in South Texas won a grant to help improve student achievement, the first place the school turned to for a new online learning program was its current partner, Edmentum. After hearing about Exact Path and seeing it live, school administrators were sold. In the first implementation year of Exact Path, 2017–18, Collins-Parr Elementary saw outstanding growth, significantly reducing the percentage of students working below grade level and more than doubling the percentage of students working at or above grade level.
