Pipeline rehabilitation can improve the performance of existing pipes, as the new lining material can be selected to provide specific properties, such as increased resistance to certain chemicals, enhanced flexibility, or increased strength. The Primus Line is a non-disruptive pressure pipe rehabilitation system. The Primus Line® is a Class III high-tenacity Kelvar reinforced liner ideally suited for the rehabilitation of potable water mains and other pressurized piping systems form 2 to 20 inches in diameter.

Insituform has in-house point repair by excavation and manhole replacement capabilites as well as long-term relationships with trusted subcontractors and Minority Business Enterprise Firms (MBEs) who support our projects. Insituform offers dry-vacuum excavation, which utilizes pressurized air to break up dry material and vacuum suction to remove it from the excavation. The equipment quickly and safely digs through gravel, clay, and even frozen soil to expose buried utilities. We also offer a two-step hydro-vacuum excavation method for breaking up soil and underground material using pressurized water and suction to clear the air.

Insituform developed and is the sole supplier of Fusible PVC® to our network of subcontractors and in-house installation crews. 

Fusible PVC® pipe combines industry accepted PVC plastic with thermal butt-fusion joining technology to provide the water, wastewater, electrical, industrial and telecommunications industries with fully restrained, monolithic pipe for use with traditional and trenchless installation methods.
