Grid tree pruning is based on pruning in pre-designed districts, or grids on a set cycle and in its entirety. This includes pruning all trees (small, medium and large-sized.) Pruning will include structural pruning, crown raising, and slight crown cleaning in accordance with the standards set forth by the International Society of Arboriculture Pruning Standards. Trees that interfere or have the possibility of interfering with utility lines will be trimmed in a manner to achieve the required clearances.

From 15-gallon to more than a one-hundred-inch boxed trees, WCA can plant them all. With dedicated tree planting crews, and crane operators experienced in planting large specimen trees, no tree is too big or too small.

The removal process consists of lowering limbs delicately onto the ground to prevent any hardscape damage. Immediately following the removal, the stump will be ground down, if ordered to do so and with proper USA notification.

Proper pruning, watering and care during the early stages of the tree’s life will save money in the future, and create a safer, more beautiful, healthy, easy-to-maintain tree. WCA believes that tree care that is performed early will affect its shape, strength and life span.

WCA has full-time Certified Arborists on staff that can prepare detailed arborist reports, tree evaluations and site inspections based on your specific needs. Reporting can be generated for one tree or an entire selection and is handled on a case-by-case basis.

The PHC program goes beyond standard chemical applications. WCA has developed an efficient Integrated Pest Management Program (IPM) that requires diagnosis before treatment. WCA is staffed with licensed applicators and advisors that are environmentally conscious as well as compliant.
