Chief Information Officer

Skip JonesSkip Jones is the chief information officer for OMNIA Partners, the largest and most experienced organization in group purchasing. OMNIA Partners is comprised of three subsidiaries: National IPA, Prime Advantage and Corporate United, serving the government, manufacturing and corporate markets, respectively.

Mr. Jones is responsible for all information technology solutions across all OMNIA divisions. His team provides websites, CRM applications, back-office applications and extensive data warehousing and business analytics across divisions, as well as day-to-day support for all infrastructure and end-user computing solutions.

Mr. Jones brought more than three decades of experience in information technology to OMNIA Partners. Most recently, he served as senior director of information technology of Asurion Corporation for 11 years.

As a founder of a K–12 educational software company that was acquired by McGraw-Hill, Mr. Jones also brings a wide range of working knowledge from multiple roles in the business intelligence and data warehousing industries, and has also provided application development and support leadership.

Mr. Jones began his career leading professional services, software development and software support across Europe, Central America and Canada while managing accounts for Systems and Computer Technology Corporation (SCT), a leading provider of software for colleges and universities across the world.
