Who We Are

Cope Plastics surpasses industry standards for quality through ISO 9001:2015 certification and an unwavering dedication to continuous improvement. We had previously earned certification under ISO 9001:2008 in 2015 and have maintained an ISO registration since 1999. We provide our customer partners with an unmatched resource for reliable service.

Cope Plastics’ National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) designation demonstrates a commitment to designated product compliance with all standard food safety requirements established by the Public Health and Safety Organization.

Cope Plastics has been an active member of the International Association of Plastics Distribution since 1958.

Cope Plastics is proud to be a nationally certified Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) by the National Women Business Owners Corporation since 2013.

Cope Plastics’ ITAR Certification assures that we have an expert working knowledge of supplying articles and services for exporting and importing under the U.S. Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls’ (DDTC) International Traffic in Arms Regulations.

Cope Plastics is proud to be an active member of the National Association of Wholesalers.

Cope Plastics has been recognized numerous times by the St. Louis Business Journal as both a Top 150 Privately Held Company and Top 50 Women-Owned Business.

With 16.9 million pounds of plastic recycled to-date (and counting!) and over 100 active recycling customers contributing to a closed-loop economy, Cope is doing our part to preserve the planet. As the recipient of seven IAPD Environmental Awards, we work every day to identify new paths towards sustainability, like installing solar-power grids and LED lighting. By reducing waste, improving yields, and repurposing our materials, we give performance plastics new life.

Our Environmental Promise: “Cope Plastics is committed to making the world a better place. We’re partnering with suppliers, customers, and the community to minimize our environmental impact while increasing sustainability and green initiatives through innovation, education, and social responsibility.”

We believe in giving back. Cope proudly supports community outreach initiatives that benefit both our employees and the communities in which we live and work. Many of our team members dedicate time and effort to local non-profits. Some of the charities and organizations we’ve worked with include: RiverBend Growth Association, Lewis & Clark Community College, Friends of Kids with Cancer, North Alton Godfrey Business Council, Southern Illinois Employer’s Association, Pride Inc., Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and United Way.
